Timeless + Beautiful Photos
Amazing photos are super exciting, and let's be honest, the first thing we all want to do is post them on social media for everyone to see! I love doing this as much as anyone and try to post photos from every shoot, but when I'm photographing and editing your moments, I don't just want you to get alllllll the likes and comments, I want you to take out these photos in 30, 40, 50 years and be just as excited and in love with them as they day you opened your gallery for the first time, and that's why I always go for a clean, classic, film-inspired look using both digital and film cameras. I don't do Instagram trends or anything super stylized. Your photos should be about you and your story and telling it in a beautiful way! Nothing more, and nothing less.
Serving You and having fun
Some photographers are in loud, in your face, and hyping you up all the time on your wedding day, but I'll be honest... I am not that person! If that's who you are looking for, I've got lots of great people I can point you towards, but if you want someone to peacefully guide you through your day while still giving you space to breathe and take it all in, I'm your person for sure. One thing I can never get enough of is when clients will thank me after their wedding day for helping them stay calm and happy and constantly reminding them that this day is about their love and marriage, not about a crazy ex-aunt who showed up just to cause trouble. But that being said, I LOVE A GOOD PARTY ON THE DANCE FLOOR and will be right in the middle catching all those memories of you and your crazy friends having the night of their life. My main goal in a wedding day or just a portrait session is to have a good time, but most importantly, to serve you well however I can and whatever that looks like, all while producing incredible photos.
More about me
When I'm not taking or working on photos, I'm a husband, a foster dad, and a worship leader at my church. I follow Jesus in everything I do (especially serving people on their wedding day) and am always working to be a better disciple of Christ and friend of all. I love spending time with my family, and even as I type this, I'm trying to keep my youngest son out of my camera case! If I'm not chasing my kids around, I'm probably planning our next travel destination (or just trying to plan dinner) with my wife. When I get time, I love collaborating with other creatives and learning new techniques and trying out new gear to improve my creative work.
